- I have always had a needle and thread in my hand. I always "handmade" something before I ever thought I could buy it.I love hand quilting my quilts, although there never seems to be enough hours in the day to complete them. Last summer, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but it is over with now and I am happy and healthy again. Having cancer has changed my life and also given me a deeper spiritual life. I trust in God for everything He has given me and feel I am very Blessed for everything in my life. I have joined a Dragonboat team where all the participants are Breast Cancer Survivors. We have a great time paddling and racing. We will be racing in an International Dragonboat festival next June in Peterborough Ontario, where 63 other teams, all Breast Cancer Survivors, will be competing against and with each other. I still work at my part time job in a local grocery store and also have fun selling Mary Kay skin care and cosmetics. All in all, I keep very busy and am looking forward to all the tomorrows I have and the excitement in not knowing what is in store for me in the months and years ahead.
BB the Clown!

Breast Buddies Dragonboat Team
We are throwing pink carnations in the water during a ceremony dedicated to the memory of all women and men who died of breast cancer. It is a very moving experience.
